Is There a Hidden Secret?
Unlike many internet marketers, I admit that ‘Is there some ‘hidden’ secret to achieving online web marketing success?’ is one of my favorite questions. I know that most marketers don’t like being asked this question, but I do.
Let me explain both sides and maybe you’ll understand my point of view. The reason that most marketers hate it is because the person asking is almost always looking for some smart ‘trick’ or ‘gizmo’ that will hand them instant online marketing riches on a plate.
They’ve read some sales page that offers them a ‘magic bullet’ or a ‘hidden secret’ that only costs $47 which guarantees overnight online marketing success. Put in these stark (and I admit slightly cynical) terms, I hope it’s obvious that this can never have a happy ending.
No-one can guarantee anything on the net. Nevertheless, thousands of people all over the world fall for this ‘pitch’ every day. It’s a given that if you start any kind of online marketing operation, the ’secret’ of success is exactly the same as it would be in any other business venture.
What’s necessary is a combination of hard work, organization, good planning, dedication and sometimes, a little bit of luck too. But this is where I take a different view to most other marketers.
If you are talking of online web marketing success with a business that is built on the central foundations of hard work, organization etc, I believe that there is a ‘hidden’ secret. The hidden secret is simple.
It’s you, or more accurately, the attitude and characteristics that you bring to your business. In my studies of successful online business owners, I have noticed a remarkable synchronicity between the personal characteristics that all these extremely successful internet entrepreneurs exhibit.
For instance, every successful online marketer is a doer, someone who takes action rather than thinking about it. To the people who achieve success on the internet, procrastination is a dirty word!
They would for example rather take a new marketing idea and launch it even if it is untried instead of spending weeks or months trying to ‘tweak’ it to perfection. They know that there is no such thing as perfection and that if an idea (e.g. a product or service) is what the market wants, it will sell irrespective of how unrefined it might be.
Sell it first, tweak it later is the way an entrepreneur does it. Successful people visualize the person that they want to become too. They have a clear image in their mind of who they will be in the future and they practice fixing this image into their subconscious every day. By doing so, they force the all-powerful subconscious mind to accept this future vision as present reality. Hence, reality is exactly what it becomes.
The real online moneymakers take full responsibility for their actions, never blaming failures on anyone else either. They do this because they know that no matter how good you are, it is impossible to be right 100% of the time. It is therefore better to try something, make the mistake, accept responsibility for it and move on instead of wasting time with something that will never succeed.
Are you beginning to see what I mean about the hidden secret? Most marketers probably think that being a doer, hating procrastination and taking responsibility for your actions is not important.
From what I know of succeeding in online web marketing, I agree… these things are not important. They are absolutely, fundamentally mission-critical!

What I learned from Kim Kiyosaki
Hello, Jenny Ferns here beside a log fire on a Canadian Winter when it’s minus something or rather outside. It’s a good time to be staying in and reading and doing some personal development. Now, this particular book I found was really helpful for me.
Several years ago, I read this book, Rich Woman by Kim Kiyosaki and it tells about how really important it is for women to take charge of their money, to take charge of their independence and so take charge of their future and not to hand over their power and their decision making to somebody else.
So as I read this, it began to answer some questions in my mind, I began to look for some solutions. So some of the questions that Kim puts that you could ask yourself:
“What would you do if you never have to work again?”
“What if you had all the time in the world to spend exactly as you want it?” And
“How would you like to be different if money were not a worry?”
So I got to think about that.
Now, in my life, I was a well-paid professional, but I was tied to a 9 to 5 job, to commute, to organizations, I didn’t have total time freedom and I didn’t have financial freedom either, which is the case for many baby boomers.
So I began to do some exploring to make a change so that I could become financially independent and to have choices. And I found Wealth Masters International and their financial education and the secrets that the wealthy impart through the conferences with Wealth Masters International were second to none and it really transformed my financial education and it’s easy. It’s not really tough! They make it fun and give you lots of choices.
And then, along with that, I found how to create a business using the internet so that I could have time freedom and financial freedom. So now, I have a business that allows me to work where I want and when I want and so long as I have a computer and the internet, I can create my financial future which is secured, so I have freedom.

State of the World
• Political
Wars and conflict continue and impact the stability of the world, politically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and financially.
Recession worldwide has influenced government intervention to prevent job loss and company failures and financial crash. The enormous bail outs and printing of money will result in greater taxes and more government control for all to offset the debt. People’s attitude to government will be conflicted.
• Economic
Recession may not turn into depression but recovery will be slow – maybe 10 years. Job losses will continue and the security once expected has gone for many. This downturn and instability effects all ages and second and third jobs and additional sources of income will be sought.
• Social
Both men and women in traditional employment work for pay or salary. If they do not work there is no income, are not independent and cannot survive long without the job, pay or social support.
Education is no longer a guarantee of employment or long term security. Business, self employment, investing and other forms of income creating is becoming attractive to young adults who are also disillusioned with the workplace grind demonstrated by their parents. This group is also very technically savvy and comfortable with the internet.
One group in the West, the Baby Boom generation, which has suffered loss of long term jobs and retirement savings with the economic downturn is a prime group for exploring new opportunities. Retirement may not be an option any more. This group may have time and some resources to take advantage of the home based business opportunities and internet technology.
Economic downturn impacts the most vulnerable. Women, and by association children, also the retired and elderly are vulnerable with less financial independence. Women as a group in the West have made huge strides in gaining a political voice, education and are challenging the power historically held by men. In some countries and societies women are not valued as people and are controlled. There is a form of democracy in many countries however there often is not true democracy or equality in the workplace or even in some families. Power often is still taken by the men regarding major decisions concerning finances and many women have not explored or even considered creating thier own financial independence within marriage or their own lives. Dependency on a job, and/or husband for survival is often the norm.
Many women even remain in painful, abusive or loveless marriages because of the fear of lowering standard of living or poverty without the resources of the partner. Many women who are single, divorced or widowed have financial challenges and seek security beyond a wage or salary.
The wish and need to earn, learn and become financially independent are the driving forces that will enable men and women to seek opportunities to augment their income to become independent.

The internet’s rapid growth has increased the ability of all people, regardless of age or race or gender to communicate to each other worldwide. It is a digital marketplace and forum for ideas. It is considered by some to be the new “goldrush”.
• Other
One force influencing the world and peoples lives is the search for meaning to life in religion and spirituality. This impacts the choice of lifestyle and search for meaning in work or how money and influence is used.
The deteriorating environment and its effect on the balance of the web of life is increasingly evident and environmentally responsible activities and occupations are important.
Values:
The values that are the foundation for my business and my life are:
• Self Actualization. This is personal development to be the best I can be. To be continually learning and challenging myself to grow regardless of age and circumstances.
• To make a difference in other peoples lives, emotionally, and financially.
